what i really like in all these common senses is that you are bringing to the fore the culture of the most remarkable people in the far end of the world (dulo ng daigdig).

Edris Tamano at 4:43am May 26
thig ka a mranaw ka. aya maana oto na thrb ka, phaigo ka. Maranaw (Meranao; M'ranao; Muranaw) is a misnomer. We are Iranaon (taw sa kilid a ranaw). Our Maguindanaon (maginged sa danaw) brothers called us Iranon, eliding the
"a"(also Ilanon).

Edris Tamano at 4:51am May 26
If we go back to the tuthul o tarsila (silsilatun nasb = genealogy), Maguindanaon and Iranaon (Maranao and Iranon) are one bangsa; so that Mindanao could be pronounced as Minranao without changing the meaning. Let us only hope that Mindanao will not have a pseudonym like Nueva Isabela...

Edris Tamano at 4:55am May 26
like what happened to Iliyan (Iligan), Kayaan (Cagayan), Pangadian (Pagadian), Samboangan (Zamboanga), Mala i walay (Malaybalay)....
